John O. Postl is the founder of John Postl, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts, a commercial litigation law firm with an emphasis on creditors’ rights. Mr. Postl’s creditors’ rights practice includes the collection of commercial and consumer claims through demand, trial, and appeal if necessary. Mr. Postl also manages the firm’s other litigation practice areas including insurance subrogation, enforcement of mechanic’s liens, aviation, and real estate litigation, including evictions. Mr. Postl oversees the firm’s transactional practice including corporate formation, and drafting and negotiating contracts and leases.
Mr. Postl has been in practice for twenty-eight years in a variety of settings including solo practice, law firms, and as inhouse counsel. Mr. Postl graduated from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA with honors in 1994. He is admitted to the state bars of Massachusetts and New York. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Postl is an active member of the Boston American Inn of Court where he currently serves as co-president.
